Since 1987, Kidworks has reached over a half million children by traveling to schools, libraries, park districts, hospitals, and other youth organizations. we provide touring productions and a variety of hands-on drama workshops and artist-residencies for Pre-Kindergarten through high school students. All of our programs promote multicultural tolerance, self-esteem, and a positive approach to learning. We emphasize audience participation, encourage teacher involvement, and provide useful study guides. Most educators believe that the best way for children to learn is by doing --- hands-on! This interactive approach is even more important for those children who have limitations or for those who learn in different ways.

ARTS EDUCATION HAS BEEN DRAMATICALLY CUT

In recent years, schools have been forced to make difficult choices due to budget cuts to the arts. Kidworks provides affordable arts in education programs to those who need it the most - children of every race, religion, ability, culture, and socioeconomic background- all for the low cost of $1.40 per child.

We need your continued support to bring arts education and programs to as many children as possible!

STILL, SO MUCH MORE NEEDS TO BE DONE!

Kidworks reaches over 25,000 children each year all of whom need individual attention. They need the quality of arts programs brought to them by Kidworks- and we need your help to reach this goal. By giving a generous give to support Kidworks, you can ensure that a child who cannot move her legs can learn to dance with her heart. You can be a part of the solution. Through the arts, each child has the potential to become an innovator.

Many of Kidworks' students are children challenged with A.D.D. / A.D.H.D., learning disabilities, cerebral palsy, autism, hearing and visual impairment. Our drama programs provide an extra boost to their self-confidence and a fun hands-on experience with instruments, costumes, and imagination - for those who feel lost in the main stream world. Kids that experience art through Kidworks learn to love learning!
With imagination, the possibilities are endless!
